• The Al-Aqsa Flood transformed the right of return and liberation from the historical realm to the realm of real possibility

  • The Zionist entity is cracking from within, and “Israel” has no legitimacy over any part of Palestine

  • Towards building a united national front led by the resistance, the prisoners’ movement, and the new revolutionary generations

The Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement affirms that the 77th anniversary of the Arab Nakba in occupied Palestine comes this year amid major transformations affecting the Palestinian cause, the Arab region, and the world, amidst the genocide and daily massacres carried out by the Zionist occupation forces—with the support of U.S. imperialism and its allies—against our steadfast people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and all of occupied Palestine.

The events of the dawn on October 7, 2023, the Al-Aqsa Flood, constituted a resounding earthquake in the structure of the Zionist political and military system on multiple levels. It has driven the enemy, its institutions, and society into a dark tunnel from which they will only emerge through a definitive strategic defeat, the signs of which are gradually becoming clear. The true nature of the Zionist entity and its settler-colonial project has been revealed to the world; all masks have fallen, and its functional role has been exposed as a Western colonial base in the heart of our Arab homeland, serving as a guard dog for American and European interests. This criminal entity’s fate is inevitable defeat. It has no right to exist or claim legitimacy over any part of historic Palestine, from the river to the sea.

We extend our militant greetings to our struggling Palestinian people in the homeland and in exile and diaspora, especially in the besieged Gaza Strip, who confront daily Zionist massacres supported by Western weapons and official Arab silence. They resist with their bare flesh the policies of starvation, thirst, siege, massacre and assassination. The movement affirmed that these crimes will not deter our people from continuing on the path of resistance and liberation. The day will come—inevitably—when Zionist war criminals and their backers will be tried in revolutionary Palestinian courts.

The movement also saluted the courageous Palestinian resistance brigades and units in the Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank, noting that the armed Palestinian resistance in Palestine has accumulated a deep experience of struggle, forged with blood and immense sacrifice, through strategic action, intellect, labor, and will, in the arenas of confrontation, the fields of battle, and the tunnels of revolution. This experience equips it to deliver stronger blows to this cowardly racist entity and its settler hordes. Our people have built a pioneering resistance respected by peoples around the world— a national and courageous resistance, led by fighters imbued with revolutionary values and human ethics, becoming the vanguard of the Arab and Islamic nations, and the front line in a global front against imperialism, colonialism, Zionism, and fascism. It has become a sword poised above the heads of normalizers, collaborators, and those who have sold their consciences and memories.

The glorious “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation moved the goal of liberation and return from the theoretical-historical realm to the tangible realm of realistic possibility, achieving mass unity behind the path of resistance and collapsing the illusions of settlement, surrender, and concession. It disrupted the calculations of the forces of normalization and those who have abandoned the cause, while strengthening the position of the resistance camp among the Palestinian and Arab masses rallying around the path of revolutionary change and national and social liberation.

We salute the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian prisoners’ movement in the occupation’s prisons, amid the torture, starvation, and deprivation endured by the prisoners. It noted that these prison cells and detention centers have, through the patience and resilience of the prisoners, been transformed into fortresses of struggle and revolutionary platforms that expose the nature of the criminal Zionist enemy. Today, the prisoners truly embody the revolutionary model and the values of unity, steadfastness, and iron will. They are the front-line vanguard in the daily confrontation and a trusted legitimate leadership of our people in occupied Palestine and the diaspora.

We emphasize the necessity of unifying the resistance camp across Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and the entire Arab homeland, and the importance of strengthening its political, military, and media capabilities. It is time for a unified revolutionary Arab political framework based on the unity of peoples and fighting forces in confronting the Zionist entity and the regimes of subservience and normalization, at a time when the struggle to reclaim the rights to self-determination and popular sovereignty over national resources is particularly important. Resistance is not merely confined to the work of armed groups dedicated to battle; it is also a comprehensive project of historical and civilizational progress, forged with iron tools that shatter dependency and underdevelopment and build the foundations of Arab renaissance towards full independence and a liberated future.

The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement renews its affirmation of the central role of student, youth, women’s, labor, and academic movements in Palestine and in exile and diaspora, particularly within American, Canadian, and European universities. At this moment, we must build broad alliances to support our people’s struggle, enhance boycott campaigns, and confront the enemy’s attacks on academic, economic, cultural, and all levels. We salute the launch of the Tariq el-Tahrir Student and Youth Network in the heart of the imperial core, coinciding with the 77th anniversary of the Nakba.

On this occasion, we send our special revolutionary greetings to the forces of global solidarity and liberation movements standing alongside our people. Revolutionary international solidarity is ab essential pillar in building a unified global movement against colonialism, imperialism, and Zionism. We urge the escalation of the comprehensive boycott of “Israel” and its supporters, particularly targeting weapons factories and corporations that manufacture death, ruin, and destruction.

The primary task at the Palestinian national level today is to stop the Zionist-imperialist genocidal aggression against our people and to build a unified Palestinian national front that leads the project of liberation and return, and lays the foundation for a comprehensive revolutionary alternative to the subservient ‘authority’ in Ramallah. The “security coordination” project must fall at the hands of our people through a popular siege imposed on the Palestinian comprador class collaborating with the occupation and its liquidation projects.

77 years of Nakba, and 77 years of resistance, our call remains: From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!
