Jaldia Abubakra, a member of the Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, said that “The heroic resistance operation in Huwwara came in response to the shameful meeting in Aqaba, confronting the daily Zionist massacres and continuous crimes that the Palestinian people and the prisoners’ movement are subjected to in the prisons and detention centers of the occupation.”
“The resistance operations and the Arab and Palestinian popular adherence to the path of return and liberation is the best response to the project of liquidation and the forces of normalization in the region and the world,” she said.
She further emphasized the Masar Badil’s position on the Palestinian Authority in the meeting sponsored by the United States in the Jordanian city of Aqaba with representatives of the occupation regime, saying that it is a “crime deserving of punishment” and noting that this leadership of the PLO does not in fact represent the Palestinian people and does not have the right to speak in their name.
Yesterday, the Masar Badil issued a statement noting that “What is happening in occupied Palestine, especially in the cities of Jenin and Nablus, and many refugee camps in the West Bank, requires a new, radical and decisive position from the Palestinian resistance forces.” The movement further noted that the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah “seeks only to preserve its own existence and privileges,” at the expense of the Palestinian people and their liberation struggle.
