Statement issued by the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement
In his speech today, General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi did not deviate from the path of justification and complicity, continuing to defend the stance of the Camp David regime in its ongoing and material participation in the crime of genocide, siege, and starvation imposed on Gaza, sharing responsibility with the Zionist enemy in the war against our Palestinian people.
What the defeated General Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said is nothing but mere words aimed at protecting his subordinate regime, not Egypt’s national security, as he claims. For today, Gaza, with its legendary steadfastness and valiant resistance, is not only defending itself, but also defending the dignity of the nation, and of Egypt: Egypt the land, Egypt the people, Egypt of the revolution, Egypt of Arabism.
We call upon the great people of Egypt, who have played decisive roles at critical historical moments, to rise up in order to break this unjust siege and defend Egypt’s historic, Arab, and liberationist role. The entire Arab and Islamic peoples await a stance that restores Egypt’s position and its pioneering role in confronting the enemy, not a disgraceful justification for the complicity of the ruling regime.
All eyes today are fixed on the people of Egypt… not the regime of Egypt.
And the nation awaits from Cairo a voice worthy of Egypt and the free people of Egypt.
