The occupation continues killing journalists
Masar Badil calls for popular escalation against the targeting of hospitals and journalists in Gaza
The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, today called for the escalation of popular mobilization and mass actions in various cities and capitals in rejection of the ongoing Zionist occupation crimes against hospitals, medical teams, civil defense, and journalists in the Gaza Strip.
Jaldia Abubakra, a member of the Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, affirmed that “the systematic targeting of health and media facilities and civil rescue teams, such as what took place today in the Yassin building inside Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in the south of the Strip (which led to the martyrdom of journalist Hossam al-Masri from Reuters, Mohammed Salama, cameraman for Al Jazeera, in addition to journalist Mariam Abu Deqqa and Moaz Abu Taha), comes within the framework of the policy of comprehensive genocide being carried out by the Zionist enemy for the past 22 months.” She emphasized that “the Zionist occupation, and its allies in Washington, London, Berlin, and Paris, fully responsible for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
Abubakra added that “the assault on hospitals and the assassination operations targeting Palestinian journalists constitute a full-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions,” stressing that “the enemy’s attempts to obscure the truth and prevent Gaza’s voice from reaching the world will not succeed.”
She concluded her statement by saying: “Gaza will not be left alone, and the continuation of these crimes will only increase the steadfastness and resistance of the Palestinian people until the aggression is stopped and the siege broken.”
