The Masar Badil, the Alternative Palestinian Revolutionary Path Movement, hosted its second online international seminar with the resistance on Saturday, 7 February, with broad attendance and participation from political forces and parties, popular movements, and student and women’s organizations from several countries. The symposium featured a guest speaker, Hussam Badran, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), member of the Political Bureau, a liberated Palestinian prisoner, and head of the movement’s National Relations Department.

During his address, Badran presented Hamas’ vision of the political and field developments and the current challenges facing the Palestinian people amidst the ongoing Zionist war of extermination, the escalating aggression against Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, and the growing role of the resistance in reshaping the dynamics of the conflict in Palestine and the region. He also discussed the prospects for the coming phase, the importance of unity across all fronts, and the role of popular and international forces in supporting the Palestinian people’s struggle and their legitimate resistance.

The seminar witnessed broad interaction from the attendees, with Badran answering questions and comments from participants in a rich political discussion that reflected the growing international interest in the Palestinian cause and the options for confronting the Zionist project.

During the intermission, a comrade from Samidoun Brussels intervened to discuss the case of Mohammed Khatib, member of the Masar’s executive committee and Europe coordinator of Samidoun, and his arrest in Greece. The event followed the launch of the series one week ago, which featured a discussion with Sayyed Ammar Moussawi, head of Arab and international relations for Hezbollah.
