On Tuesday, 11 February 2026, the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, organized a seminar with Jordanian researcher and writer Dr. Fatima al-Smadi, commemorating the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
The seminar explored the nature of Iranian-Palestinian relations after 1979, the place of Palestine in the ideology of the Islamic Revolution and the Republic’s policies, and addressed internal Iranian issues in light of the challenges related to the conflict in the region and the world.
The researcher, author of “Iran and Hamas: From Marj al-Zuhour to the Al-Aqsa Flood,” answered the audience’s questions on various issues related to the current crisis between Iran and the United States. She emphasized the importance of dialogue between Arabs and Iranians to protect shared interests and rights in the face of Zionist and Western imperialist projects in our region.
Several associations and organizations participated in organizing and managing the seminar, including the Alkarama Palestinian Women’s Movement, Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network and the Tariq al-Tahrir Student and Youth Network.
