From October 19 to 22, 2023, Masar Badil (Palestinian Revolutionary Alternative Path Movement) will hold its activities on the occasion of the second anniversary of its establishment. After the founding of our movement in Madrid in October 2021 and the success of the March for Return and Liberation in Brussels in October 2022, these activities will take place this year in the city of Toulouse, France, where the Collectif Palestine Vaincra, a member organization of our movement, works to advance the Palestinian cause and is confronting attempts by the French authorities to ban its activities.
In particular, Masar Badil calls on the Palestinian people, the Arab masses and all the progressive and revolutionary internationalist forces to participate widely in the march for the liberation of Georges Abdallah organized by numerous committees and organizations on Saturday, October 21, in Lannemezan in France, marching to the gates of the prison where he is held.
Georges Abdallah, Arab communist and Palestinian resistance fighter, will enter his 40th year of imprisonment on October 24, making him one of the longest-held political prisoners in Europe. A true symbol of implacable struggle and determination, Georges Abdallah is an integral part of the Palestinian prisoners’ movement and of the Palestinian resistance, who refuses any form of surrender and liquidation of our cause.
Supporting the struggler Georges Abdallah is not only supporting a person who is upright and faithful to his revolutionary principles. Supporting Georges Abdallah is also supporting the Palestinian resistance which everywhere confronts the Zionist enemy, from Jenin to Nablus to Gaza and in the heart of occupied Palestine ’48. Supporting the struggler Georges Abdallah is supporting the liberation of the 5000 men, women and children in Zionist jails. We hold their names and their struggles high: Ahmad Sa’adat, Marwan Barghouti, Naël Barghouthi, Walid Daqqah, Anas Jaradat, Zakaria Zubaidi, Wael Jaghoub, Yaqoub Qadri, Ahmad Manasra, Israa Jaabis, Aya Khatib, Tamer Ramadan and all of their fellow prisoners!
Supporting the struggler Georges Abdallah means supporting the prisoners of our cause around the world, such as the activists of Palestine Action in British prisons, the three Palestinians from the Holy Land Foundation still imprisoned in the United States, and the Palestinians and Arabs in the jails of the Palestinian Authority or the Egyptian and Saudi regimes.
While the enemies of the Palestinian people – imperialism, Zionism and the reactionary Arab regimes – continue to do everything possible to keep the fighter Georges Abdallah in prison, our participation in this march must be understood as a clear rejection and confrontation of the policies of criminalization of the Palestinian organizations and the movement of solidarity with the Palestinian cause, in particular in France, in Germany and in the Spanish State.
As our Palestinian people in exile and in the Diaspora confront escalating racist policies and fascist movements in Europe, our participation in this march is a call to our people in exile and in the diaspora to take the path of struggle and organization to defend our rights and the fundamental principles of the Palestinian cause until return and the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea.
On the road of resistance, Georges Abdallah reaffirms to his French imperialist jailer that he regrets nothing and that he will make no compromise. Let us be faithful to its principles!
“Together, and only together, we will win.”
