The Masar Badil movement is convening the 4th edition of its international conference in Madrid from the 3rd to the 7th of October.
[Madrid, Monday, September 30th, 2024] – We are pleased to announce the celebration of the Conference promoted by Masar Badil “The Line of Resistance and Liberation”, a multi-day event that will take place from 3rd to 7th October 2024, in Madrid, with the aim of taking stock, analyzing and defining future strategies for the liberation of Palestine from the river to the sea.
This conference, which has been held for four years in October in different cities each year, returns to Madrid in a context characterized by the current episode of genocide in Gaza, the offensive against Arab supporting countries, and the repression and criminalization of solidarity with Palestine in Europe and North America.
The historic initiative performed by the Palestinian resistance on October 7th has once again put the spotlight on the centrality of the Palestinian cause in the current international scene, and has exposed the most brutal face of Zionism, and the unlimited complicity of the countries of the so-called “international community”, which continue a year later, allowing Israel to develop its genocidal and terrorist policy.
This conference will bring together prominent leaders, academics, activists, artists and representatives of international organizations working for human rights and social justice. This new landscape, which is nothing more than a new chapter in the 76 years of Zionist colonialism in the Middle East, requires a space where various workshops, events and talks will be held that will focus on establishing a dialogue and research on:
The development of the forms of resistance of the Palestinian people in the diaspora; the expansion of the scope and areas of popular movements and the activities of students, workers, feminists and trade unionists; the development of extensive boycott campaigns, the confrontation of the genocidal war committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and throughout occupied Palestine.

- Sunday, October 6th, 2024:
- March “76 Years of Genocide, 76 Years of Resistance”, from Legazpi to Plaza Reina Sofía, at 12.00 pm CET.
- Monday, October 7th, 2024:
- Demonstration in front of the US Embassy (Madrid), at 7 pm CET.
The event will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, alliance building, and strengthening the movement for justice, indigenous Palestinian rights, and resistance. It will seek not only to inform, but also to inspire and encourage the creation of a strategy to combat Zionism, colonial logics, the orientalist vision, racism and apartheid laws.
