The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, condemned the brutal US-Zionist aggression against the Al-Jarraf neighborhood in the Shaab Directorate in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and Saada Governorate, which took the lives of a number of martyrs and wounded.
Khaled Barakat, member of the Masar Badil’s executive committee, affirmed that the movement “stands by our brave Yemeni people, their revolutionary leadership, and their valiant armed forces.”
Barakat called upon the organizations and supporters of the Masar Badil and the international movement in solidarity with Palestine to “declare their revolutionary and practical solidarity with the Yemeni people supporting the Palestinian resistance and supporting our people in the Gaza Strip in the face of siege, starvation and the Zionist genocidal aggression.”
Barakat called for “real and active mobilization in all areas in order to expose the US and Zionist policies targeting the people of Yemen who stood tall in the face of criminal wars for two decades, and still declare their steadfast position, standing united behind their revolutionary leadership and armed forces that imposed by force and will a naval blockade on the ports of occupied Palestine, which caused billions of dollars in losses for the enemy, its companies and supporters.
Barakat considered that the aggression against Yemen is a “failed US-Zionist attempt to respond to the principled position announced by the leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi to break the siege on Gaza and Yemen’s decision to resume its blockade and the targeting of ‘Israeli’ ships,” emphasizing that “these disgusting and desperate American attacks will not succeed in separating the Yemeni people from their central cause, Palestine.”
The Masar Badil movement issued a international solidarity petition with Yemen on June 6, 2024 signed by about 400 organizations, associations, and parties and more than 1100 individuals, in which it emphasized Yemen’s role in supporting and resisting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and urged active international solidarity with Yemen.
