The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, strongly condemns the British government’s decision to proscribe Palestine Action as a “terrorist” organization. We consider this decision against the direct-action movement against the war machine to be a blatant and public act of complicity with the Zionist colonial project and the ongoing genocide waged by the occupation against our Palestinian people, particularly in the besieged Gaza Strip, under vicious assault for the past 21 months.

The criminalization of an anti-war activist movement that exposes the involvement of British companies in supporting Zionist crimes and takes action to hold them accountable clearly reveals the essence of British colonial policy, continuing since the 1917 Balfour Declaration, and its role in establishing, arming, and providing political, security, and economic support to the Zionist entity, historically and to the present day.

This British proscription of Palestine Action comes amid an intensification of repression and criminalization of movements resisting Zionist colonialism and its backers in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States, Canada, and other imperialist states complicit in the establishment and support of the “Israeli” occupation and the ongoing genocide against our people. It also exposes the extent to which arms and oil corporations and capital have overrun and dominated Western societies and the world as a whole.

We view the targeting of Palestine Action as a direct attack upon all free people of the world and upon all forms of expression, struggle, and solidarity with the Palestinian people. It is a dangerous step in the escalation of systematic repression against free voices in Britain and Europe, and a consolidation of the alliance between regimes of genocide, imperialism, colonialism and transnational military capitalism.

We in the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement reaffirm our full solidarity with our comrades in Palestine Action, and our support for them in resisting and confronting this unjust decision. We call on the masses of our Palestinian people and on all popular movements and revolutionary organizations around the world to launch the broadest campaign of support and solidarity with Palestine Action, in defense of the right to organize and engage in revolutionary direct action in confronting imperialism and its war machine.

British repression will not intimidate the revolutionaries.
The will of the free people will never be broken.
