Brussels – Yesterday, Sunday, August 25, 2025, the streets of the Belgian capital, Brussels, witnessed mass demonstrations in which hundreds participated, including members of the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic communities, alongside forces of solidarity with the Palestinian people. The protests rejected the Zionist occupation’s crimes of genocide against our people in Gaza for more than 22 months.
Demonstrators chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance and in condemnation of official Arab silence and European complicity with the occupation, demanding the immediate imposition of sanctions on the Zionist entity and the severing of all political, military, and economic cooperation with it. They affirmed the continuation of popular mobilization in the streets of Brussels until the aggression is stopped, the siege lifted, and the normalization system broken.
For its part, the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network praised the role of Palestinian youth in leading and organizing these daily marches and popular protests in Brussels and across various Belgian cities, emphasizing the advanced role played by the diaspora masses in confronting the Zionist project and supporting the steadfastness of our people and their heroic resistance in occupied Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip.
