Masar Badil: We salute the Islamic Jihad Movement on the anniversary of its founding

The movement came as a resounding slap to the Zionist enemy and against those who bet on the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.

The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, extends its congratulations to the brother and mujahid Ziyad al-Nakhaleh “Abu Tareq,” and to the leadership and members of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine on the historic occasion of the 38th anniversary of its founding. It directed a special revolutionary greeting to the brothers and mujahid leaders of Saraya al-Quds, to the supporters of the movement, its prisoners, and its masses in Palestine and in the diaspora.

The founding of this blessed national revolutionary Islamic movement in Palestine, at the hands of the great revolutionary and mujahid martyr Dr. Fathi Shaqaqi and his comrades, was a great development for our Palestinian people on one hand, and a strong, resounding slap to the Zionist enemy and all those who bet on the liquidation of the rights of our Palestinian people on the other hand.

The anniversary of the founding of Islamic Jihad comes as a historical and militant milestone every year, as it renews the pledge to the martyrs, the wounded, and the prisoners, and to follow in their footsteps until our Palestinian people achieve their national goals of liberation and return. This year, 2025, also comes amidst major historical challenges, as the movement stands steadfast and unwavering in its positions despite the bloodshed and suffering. It is on the front lines of the battle, confronting aggression, genocide, and political liquidation plots targeting the Palestinian people and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations.

We salute the revolutionary school established by the Islamic Jihad Movement in the prisons of the Zionist enemy. Since its early years, its leaders and imprisoned cadres have presented a legendary model of defiance against the Zionist apparatus, breaking the shackles of detention and prison cells. They have created immortal and honorable images of steadfastness, pride, and patience in the face of the Zionist executioners.

We hail the historic role of the Islamic Jihad Movement in the Great Popular Intifada of 1987 and the Al-Aqsa Intifada of 2000, the coincidence of the anniversary of its launch with the outbreak of the “Al-Aqsa Flood,” and the special imprint that the Islamic Jihad Movement has left on the reality and history of the Palestinian liberation movement through its sacrifices and its pioneering, central role in defending our people and their national rights.
