The joint leadership of the Arab Socialist Labor Party–Lebanon and the Popular Democratic Party condemned the brutal Israeli airstrikes on the Ain al-Hilweh camp, which led to a large number of martyrs and wounded among Palestinian and Lebanese civilians, in a described war crime added to the ongoing record of open genocide the enemy continues to perpetrate against the peoples of the region.

The leadership affirmed that this assault comes within the context of the ongoing Zionist–U.S. war of extermination against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, holding the United States directly responsible for the massacre, as it is the primary financier and political and military supporter of the Zionist entity, and its patron in the continued violation of ceasefire agreements and in expanding the aggression against civilians in Lebanon and against Gaza in occupied Palestine.

The leadership stressed that the enemy’s claims of targeting “military objectives” are nothing but blatant media deception intended to cover up the bombing of densely populated residential neighborhoods and the terrorizing of civilians, in a desperate attempt to break the will of the resistance and the peoples.

The joint leadership also affirmed that any proposal to disarm the resistance or undermine its right to defend the people and the land directly serves the enemy and its schemes, emphasizing that resisting the occupation is a legitimate right and a fundamental source of protection for both peoples and for the national and pan-Arab equation.

It likewise called for strengthening and expanding popular Arab and international solidarity campaigns with Palestinians and Lebanese, confronting all forms of complicity that seek to pass the aggression under misleading labels, and working to mobilize the broadest popular and political alignment to confront the Zionist–U.S.–reactionary project in the region.

Glory and eternity to the martyrs
Speedy recovery to the wounded
Freedom for the prisoners
Victory to the struggling peoples

The Joint Leadership of the Arab Socialist Labor Party – Lebanon
and the Popular Democratic Party
