Nidal Seattle called upon all to participate in a mass march and rally for Palestine on Saturday, January 17 at 2 pm in Denny Park. The call to action reads:
“The upcoming rally will be at: Denny Park, 100 Dexter Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
At this moment, it is urgent for all those who oppose imperialism, especially in the United States, to stand on the side of Palestine and Venezuela against US imperialism and its criminal military aggression.
At the same time as the United States is bombing and invading the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela – which comes just days after Trump’s meeting with his colleague, the war criminal and Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – the Zionist regime is threatening even more attacks on Lebanon, where it continues to bomb the south of the country daily, and on Gaza, where it continues its genocide, despite the unilateral “ceasefire.”
This is an opportunity for resistance and action. It is clear that the US sees imperialism’s slaughter of even the semblance of international law in its imperialist-Zionist genocide in Gaza as an opportunity to extend its aggression throughout the world, without even attempting to create anything other than the flimsiest pretext and at the same time openly declare its thirst for the resources of the peoples of the world.
It is an urgent responsibility for all people and organizations in the United States and in the international center to now stand up for Venezuela, to escalate, to protest, to take direct action – while standing up against the ongoing genocide in Palestine, the attack on Lebanon and the aggression against all the peoples of the region and the world who are confronting and resisting imperialism. We must not allow business as usual or be content with mild condemnations.”
The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, expressed its strong support for these activities in the United States in support of Palestine and Venezuela, and urged the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic communities, along with all friendly and solidarity forces, to participate widely in the demonstration, and to respond to the call of Nidal Seattle, affirming the unity of peoples’ struggles in confronting imperialism and Zionism.
