On Monday 12 of January Members of Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, Masar Badil – The Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, and Gather for Gaza collective visited the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Greece to express their solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution and the people of Venezuela in the face of ongoing U.S. imperialist aggression, sanctions, and attempts at recolonization.

The delegation denounced the imperialist military attack and the kidnapping of President Maduro, the siege imposed on Venezuela and the attempts by the United States and the EU and their allies to subjugate the Bolivarian Republic through economic warfare and political destabilization. The delegation affirmed that the attack on Venezuela is part of the same imperialist and Zionist campaign that targets all nations and movements resisting domination, exploitation, and U.S. hegemony.
The Embassy representative warmly welcomed the delegation and conveyed the firm commitment of the Venezuelan state and people to the historic and principled support for the Palestinian struggle for liberation and return. The representative highlighted Venezuela’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people, rooted in a shared anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggle that unites the peoples of the Global South.

The Palestinian solidarity delegation emphasized that the systematic targeting of Venezuela by U.S. imperialism is directly connected to Venezuela’s historic stance in defense of the Palestinian cause in boycotting the Zionist entity, severing all relations with the colonial state of Israel, and supporting Palestinian resistance and national liberation efforts.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties between the Palestinian liberation movement and the Bolivarian Revolution, and to developing future joint initiatives and events. They stressed the urgent need to build a unified global anti-imperialist, anti-colonial, and anti-fascist front—a worldwide movement of peoples resisting domination and advancing the struggle for justice, dignity, and liberation.
