A Call from the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement
To our people’s friends and comrades in struggle in Greece: Together we confront Zionist infiltration, and together we will win
The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, extends its revolutionary greetings to the friends of the Palestinian people in Greece, and to the supporters of the Palestinian resistance from political, trade union, and popular forces, and free activists, who, alongside our peoples in the Arab region, are confronting the Zionist-U.S. project as a settler-colonial and racist project that threatens not only Palestine, but also targets the Greek people, their wealth, and their natural and human resources.
The almost weekly visits of Israeli ministers to Athens today reflect an accelerating Zionist infiltration inextricably linked to the imperialist project in our region. This infiltration aims to consolidate the influence of the criminal Zionist entity through oil, gas, and energy agreements in the Eastern Mediterranean, the relentless acquisition of land and real estate, and the integration of the Greek economy and infrastructure with the interests of the occupation and its security, economic, and military companies. This is all part of a broader effort to redraw the map of imperialist control over the region and transform Greece into a strategic outpost against the peoples of our region.
This Zionist-American infiltration did not begin today. It was preceded by attempts to seize control of vital and essential facilities in Greece, most notably the water sector, through the internationally infamous Israeli company Mekorot, known for its role in stealing Palestinian water and using it as a tool of colonialism and punishment against our people. Allowing this company to penetrate the water infrastructure of any country constitutes a direct threat to national sovereignty and to social and environmental security.
The so-called “joint projects between Israel and Greece” are not merely aimed at securing economic deals, but rather at transforming Athens into a Zionist political, security, and economic hub, a forward operating base for whitewashing the crimes of the occupation, strengthening its military alliances, and integrating it into the region as a “natural” power. This blatant disregard for the fact that it is an entity founded on colonialism, displacement, and the ongoing massacres of our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, is a deliberate attempt to position Greece as an enemy of the Arab and Muslim peoples.
Therefore, we emphasize that confronting this infiltration is not only a matter of solidarity with Palestine, but also a battle to defend Greece, its islands and resources, its sovereign decision-making, and the right of its people to prevent their country from becoming an advanced base for a racist colonial project. This calls upon us all to mobilize broad popular support to strengthen the shared historical and struggle-based ties between Palestine and Greece.
In this context, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement directs a special appeal to Greek workers, their militant unions, and student and youth movements, considering them at the forefront of the forces capable of curbing this Zionist-imperialist infiltration and thwarting its projects. Workplaces, universities, institutes, ports, and the energy, water, and transportation sectors constitute real battlegrounds against capital allied with the occupation. The Movement calls upon these forces to assume their historical responsibility in organizing broad participation in popular movements, strikes, sit-ins, boycott campaigns, and exposing companies and institutions involved in collaborating with the Zionist entity. The Movement affirms that the unity of the struggle of workers and students in Greece with the struggle of our Palestinian people constitutes a central lever for dismantling normalization, striking at imperialist alliances, and preventing Greece from becoming an advanced base for a colonial and racist project targeting all our peoples.
We call upon our comrades in Greece to:
Take to the squares and streets to expose the oil, gas, and energy agreements that bind Greece to the Zionist entity.
Reject any presence or partnership of Zionist companies that infiltrate vital infrastructure.
Escalate the popular struggle against normalization and attempts to transform Athens into a regional Zionist hub.
Expand the boycott and isolation campaigns against the Zionist entity and its allies.
The battle for Palestine is the battle for Greece, and the battle for all free peoples. Confronting Zionism is an integral part of the struggle against imperialism and fascism.
Long live the struggle of the Palestinian and Greek peoples… Together in one trench, we fight and we will triumph!
