The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, strongly condemns the decision of the European Union to place the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the so-called “terrorist list,” and considers this unjust decision to be a dangerous violation of the norms of international relations and a complete alignment with the ongoing U.S.–Zionist aggression against the Iranian people, the policies of economic siege imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran, and direct European engagement in the colonial project aimed at dominating the region and striking the forces of resistance and liberation in West Asia and the world.

We affirm that this political decision has no connection to the concepts of justice or international law; rather, it falls within the context of the open war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the peoples of our region, and the camp of resistance, and represents an attempt to criminalize everyone who stands in the face of U.S.–Zionist hegemony.

We call upon the peoples of Europe to support the struggle of the peoples of the region for sovereignty, independence, and liberation. We also call upon supporters of the resistance in the European continent and around the world to clearly express their rejection and condemnation of this unjust European decision, to work to expose its racist character, and to confront the policies of criminalization and targeting directed against the Islamic Republic and its legitimate right to the independence of its decision-making and to resist aggression, colonialism, and Zionism.
