The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, organized an international online workshop addressing the reality of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, with the participation of activists and supporters from North America, Europe, Latin America and the Arab world.

The seminar featured interventions by Palestinian journalist and writer Ahmad al-Sabahi, journalist Lina Abdallah, and media activist Abdel-Karim al-Safadi, where the speakers focused on the difficult living conditions faced by Palestinian refugees in the camps.

The workshop highlighted the consequences of the reduction of services by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), and the resulting deterioration in the sectors of education, health and social relief. Participants also discussed the reality of deprivation of civil and political rights in Lebanon, the prohibition preventing Palestinian refugees from working in more than 70 professions, in addition to the conditions of siege and closures that affect the lives of most Palestinian refugees and their surroundings.

The speakers responded to questions from representatives of organizations and individuals participating in the seminar, who expressed their solidarity and support for the Palestinian people and their political and national rights, in the face of the war of genocide and policies of marginalization and exclusion.

The speakers stressed the importance of international action and political and media pressure in order to guarantee the humanitarian and social rights of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, and to confront policies of marginalization and restriction, in a way that ensures them a dignified life until the realization of the right of return to their homes in liberated Palestine.
