Jaldia Abubakra, coordinator of the Alkarama Palestinian Women’s Movement in Spain, said that “the Jewish National Fund (JNF) represents the interational arm of the Zionist project, which is funding the ongoing displacement and uprooting of our Palestinian people in the Naqab, occupied Jerusalem, and other areas throughout occupied Palestine.” She called for building a global popular campaign against this Zionist institution, which was founded in 1901 and played a central role in the establishment of the racist Zionist project and the displacement of the Palestinian people from their homeland before and after the 1948 Nakba.

In an interview with the Masar Badil website, Abubakra urged organizations and forces participating in the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement (Masar Badil), boycott campaigns and movements supporting Palestinian rights to demonstrate in front of the offices of the JNF around the world “against the Zionist crimes that the occupation forces carry out and engineer and in which this institution participates, under the pretext of afforestation and development of the Naqab.”

Abubakra said that this Zionist institution has dozens of offices in European, American and Canadian cities. “The JNF must be held accountable for its role in war crimes and ethnic cleansing. Its criminal part in the systematic displacement operations targeting the Palestinian people in the occupied Naqab.”
