The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, reviewed the political and material developments in occupied Palestine, and held two meetings: first, of the movement’s expanded follow-up committee and then, a meeting with Arab and international organizations and groups on Monday, January 30. In these meetings, the Masar discussed the dangerous and barbaric Zionist escalations against the Palestinian people, particularly in the West Bank of Palestine, the intensification of the siege on the Palestinian people in Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, and occupied Palestine ’48, and the targeting of the prisoners’ movement in the occupation prisons, part of the ongoing war of genocide, displacement and uprooting among the Palestinian people.
The movement called on all organizations and friends of the movement, the masses of the Palestinian people and the Arab nation everywhere in countries of refuge and diaspora, and supporters of Palestine and allied liberation movements to join in campaigns to boycott and isolate the Zionist entity and to organize “Days of Rage and Resistance” throughout the world and in the diaspora on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, February 10, 11 and 12, 2023. These days aim to confront U.S., Canadian, British and European policies in support of Zionist colonialism, and confront the fascist and racist states and movements that work to cover up, justify and beautify Israeli crimes and colonialism throughout all of Palestine, from the river to the sea.
The Masar salutes the Palestinian prisoners’ movement, struggling in the jails of the Zionist enemy, who are waging a daily battle to confront the repressive gangs of Ben Gvir. The movement also saluted the heroic Palestinian martyr, Khairy Alqam, who carried out the operation of revolutionary response in the colonial settlement built atop Nabi Yaqoub in the north of occupied Jerusalem. This resistance operation and other actions of the valiant Palestinian people and their resistance in Jerusalem, the West Bank and throughout occupied Palestine has shaken the strength of the enemy and its security and political institutions while also strengthening the unity of the Palestinian people inside Palestine and in exile and diaspora, while weakening the self-rule “Palestinian Authority” and its approach of surrender and subservience.
In the enlarged meeting held with supporters and friends on January 30, the movement affirmed that the Palestinian Arab people have proven through their experience through decades of struggle that they are stronger than the massacres of colonialism and its agents, and that they can always take up the resistance, rise and renew themselves in order to continue on the path of revolution and return. And to defeat the forces of treason and normalization in Palestine and the region, moving forward, generation after generation, towards victory and total liberation.
The Masar emphasized that the Palestinian Arab people, through their revolutionary liberation cause that has spanned more than a century, confirm that their unity in the field, solid popular will and revolutionary vanguards are capable of breaking the siege and developing new forms of effective resistance to confront the forces of imperialism, Zionism and reaction that seek to abolish their existence and plunder the wealth of the Palestinian people by erasing their national and human rights. It called once more to establish a unified Palestinian national front for liberation and return, away from the conditions of Oslo, the subservient “Authority” and the so-called “two-state solution,” which aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
It further underlined that the leadership of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah is practicing a policy of deception by marketing repetitive verbal positions and statements that no longer deceive anyone, at a time when the Palestinian people can see clearly that the PA’s embassies remain silent on the crimes of the Zionist enemy and its security forces continue to report to William Burns, head of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and continue to practice repression and torture in Jericho prison and other detention centers, run by the Authority with a license from the Zionist entity and the United States, rather than freeing political detainees and Palestinians detained for their role in the resistance.
Finally, the Masar concluded its meetings by expressing its highest confidence in the masses of the Palestinian people and their revolutionary youth, in Palestine and in the diaspora, and their central role in defending the Palestinian people and strengthening the steadfastness of the prisoners’ movement inside the jails and detention centers of the Zionist enemy, and in confronting the Zionist movement and its allies in all arenas and locations. .
