The Information Department of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, commented on the impact of the guerrilla resistance operation carried out by the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades in the heart of occupied Palestine at the hands of the fighter Al-Moataz Billah Al-Khawaja from the heroic village of Nilin in the occupied West Bank. In its statement, the Masar emphasized that “the Palestinian resistance constitutes the advanced revolutionary line of the Palestinian nation and its people in confronting the forces of imperialism and Zionism and the camp of normalization and liquidation in the region.”

The Masar further noted, “Guerilla resistance operations are an inherent right of our people at all times in order to restore their rights and liberate their homeland, just as revolutionary violence transcends the concepts of ‘response’ and ‘revenge’, because resistance is the strategy of liberation and the only means that keeps the battle and engagement open. Resistance transforms the project of occupation into a losing project and prevents the liquidation path targeting the Palestinian cause from progressing further. It also spreads hope and unity throughout the entire Palestinian nation, in the homeland and in exile and diaspora, and deepens the internal contradictions between the parties of the enemy camp.

“The mission of the popular forces, revolutionary intellectuals, and the solidarity movement is to strengthen the Arab and international popular support and solidarity for the resistance, as it is the spearhead in confronting the occupier and a strategic path to achieve the goals of our Palestinian people: return, liberation, and victory,” the Masar continued. “Colonialist and imperialist powers, led by the United States, see the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance as an imminent danger and a constant threat to their project (Israel) in the region.”

“Every resistance operation that takes place inside occupied Palestine ’48, or in Jenin, Nablus, and Jerusalem, every missile, bomb, and bullet in Haifa, Lod, and Hadera, has an echo and impact that are heard directly in New York, Paris, London, Berlin, and in the corridors of power in the White House. This is a message of fire that cannot be ignored and that reveals the failure of the plans to target the Palestinian people and liquidate their cause. It further hammers a new nail in the coffin of the liquidationist “self-rule” project of the so-called “Palestinian Authority.”

“It is not the task of all of the people to practice armed revolutionary violence. This is the task of the fedayeen men and women, but it is the role and responsibility of all to embrace and support our people’s resistance, tell its story to the world, and strengthen the steadfastness of the people that make this resistance possible.”

The movement called for broad participation in the International Campaign to Liberate the Bodies of the Martyrs from the Morgues and “Numbers Cemeteries,” launched in exile and diaspora, and to commemorate the 45th anniversary of the martyrdom of Palestinian national symbol Dalal al-Mughrabi and the guerilla group that carried out the heroic Martyr Kamal ‘Udwan operation on 11 March 1978.
