On Palestinian Prisoners’ Day and Al-Quds Day, the Masar Badil calls for international days of popular action in the Palestinian diaspora

April 11, 2023

The Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, called upon all of its organizations and the masses of Palestinian people in exile and diaspora to participate widely in commemorating Palestinian Prisoners’ Day on 17 April and to organize popular and international demonstrations in support of the Palestinian resistance and the prisoners’ movement in the occupation jails. It also called for participation in the commemorations of Al-Quds Day in North America, Britain, and South Africa, noting the importance of exposing the daily crimes of the Zionist project against Palestinians in Jerusalem, besieged Gaza, the rising West Bank and all of occupied Palestine, from the river to the sea.

The Masar announced that it was participating in the Al-Quds Day 2023 activities in Canada, and urged all Palestinian and Arab communities in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, Africa and elsewhere to defend Jerusalem at a time when the religious, cultural and historical sites of the Palestinian people in Palestine are subjected to official policies of Israelization, in addition to the constant threats targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock at the hands of the occupation forces, its security services and hordes of Zionist paramilitary colonial settlers.

The movement emphasized the need to raise the Palestinian flag, the banners of the resistance and the Palestinian kuffiyeh, and to highlight the struggles of the brave prisoners Israa Jaabis, Walid Daqqah, Musaab Shtayyeh, Georges Abdallah, Ahmad Sa’adat, Khader Adnan, Abdullah Barghouthi, Nael Barghouthi, Marwan Barghouthi and Ahmad Manasra, the Palestinians detained in U.S. jails and all of the symbols of the prisoners’ movement in the occupation prisons. We further urge the widest participation in the events and demonstrations for Palestinian Prisoners’ Day organized by Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network in various cities and regions of the world.
