In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful.

 A statement issued by the National Movement of Palestinian Prisoners on the arrest by the British authorities of several members of the “Palestine Action” movement. The British authorities arrested 9 members of the “Palestine Action” movement,  which opposes companies that are directly complicit in the ongoing Zionist occupation of Palestine and the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. Subsequently, the British authorities released two members while 7 remain in detention. 

So we state the following:

First: We appreciate the efforts made by the “Palestine Action” movement, which caused the closure of several sites belonging to the company “Elbit Systems”, which specialises in producing drones and weapons that are supplied to the fascist Zionist occupation. In addition to attacking the supply chains of the company and others that supply bulldozers to the occupation to demolish Palestinian homes.

 Second: The National Palestinian Prisoners’ Movement condemns the British company Elbit Systems and others who market their weapons under the label of “battle-tested” in the Palestinian Gaza Strip.

 Third: We condemn the arrest by the British authorities of several members of the “Palestine Action” movement and call on international legal and human rights institutions to take a serious stance, and to take official and popular action to pressure the British government to immediately release the rest of the arrested members, as well as to stop the British complicity with the Zionist apartheid regime that started with the issuing of the Balfour Declaration in 1917 until today.
