Against the policies of assassination and imprisonment of the Palestinian Authority and the Zionist regime

The Masar Badil (Alternative Palestinian Path) calls for demonstrations at Palestinian Authority and Zionist embassies and missions everywhere in the world

The General Preparatory Committee for the Alternative Palestinian Path Conference (Masar Badil) called on the masses of the Palestinian people and supporters of Palestine everywhere, especially in the diaspora, to organize demonstrations of anger and popular protests to announce their position rejecting the policy of repression, assassinations and torture practiced by the Palestinian Authority’s security agencies in the occupied West Bank since its establishment in 1994. This is a systematic and continuous policy targeting all the Palestinian resistance forces and thousands of prisoners and strugglers, and the most recent crime is the assassination of the Palestinian struggler and activist Nizar Banat on Thursday, 24 June 2021.

The Preparatory Committee affirms that this regime of repression and security coordination constitutes an extension of the Zionist entity and its colonial forces throughout Palestine. These crimes can only be stopped through uprising, rebellion, popular rejection and a clear revolutionary stance towards the practices of the Palestinian Authority.

At an urgent meeting convened today after the assassination of the struggler Nizar Banat, the Committee emphasized the necessity of organizing a popular Palestinian, Arab and international movement in Palestine and everywhere in exile and diaspora, confronting Zionism, the Israeli regime and the “self-rule” subservient Palestinian Authority and demonstrating in front of Palestinian Authority and Israeli embassies. We also urge protests European Union offices and international human rights institutions, holding all parties involved directly responsible as partners and co-conspirators in the crimes targeting Palestinian strugglers at the hands of Israel and its agents.

The Preparatory Committee expressed its deepest Palestinian and human solidarity with the family of the martyr Nizar Banat and urges all organizations and groups supporting the Alternative Palestinian Path to take immediate and urgent action and launch a national campaign to liberate political detainees from Palestinian Authority prisons and provide protection for them and their families.
