The Palestinian cause today stands at a decisive historical turning point, amid the continuing war of genocide and Zionist aggression, the escalation of the settler-colonial assault on our land and people, and the ongoing crisis of the Palestinian political system and its inability to represent the aspirations of our people and their national rights. Proceeding from this pivotal moment, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement believes that the national and historical responsibility borne by the Palestinian resistance forces requires the initiation of a serious and genuine national dialogue leading to the establishment of a unified Palestinian national front that restores the Palestinian national liberation movement and unites the energies of our people in the homeland and throughout the diaspora around the program of liberation and return.

This national front must begin with a comprehensive political and critical review of previous experiences, and establish a comprehensive national liberation project founded upon confronting the occupation and the Zionist project, and defending the inalienable national rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right of return, the right to self-determination, and the right to liberate the entirety of the Palestinian homeland. It must also work to rebuild the Palestinian national institutions on revolutionary, representative, and democratic foundations, reflecting the free will of our people in the homeland and the diaspora, and putting an end to the monopolization of national decision-making and the exclusion of the majority of our people practiced by the so-called “Palestinian Authority” in Ramallah.

The Movement believes that restoring the central role of the Palestinian people in the diaspora is not merely an organizational matter or an issue of representation, but rather a strategic issue that touches the very essence of the Palestinian national project. Millions of Palestinians in refugee camps and places of exile constitute an integral part of our people, and they possess a historical and political right that is not subject to compromise or marginalization. Therefore, reintegrating them into national decision-making, rebuilding the national institutions, and strengthening their role in leading the military, political, popular, media, and diplomatic struggle constitute an essential condition for reviving the Palestinian national liberation movement and restoring its unity and capacity for initiative and action.

The Movement also affirms that the present stage requires the development of a new national strategy based on the unity of the resistance forces, the complementarity of the roles of Palestinians in the homeland and the diaspora, and the organization of our people’s capacities within the framework of a comprehensive liberation project, far removed from the path of settlement and the program of the Palestinian Authority, both of which have proven incapable and unsuccessful in achieving any of our national rights, halting aggression and settlement expansion, or ending the occupation. What is required today is to restore the Palestinian cause to its natural position as a national liberation cause of a people struggling to liberate their land, secure the return of their refugees, and bring an end to the Zionist settler-colonial project.

The Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement calls upon all resistance forces, national forces, popular organizations, and our people in the homeland and the diaspora to shoulder their historical responsibilities and engage in a responsible national dialogue leading to the construction of a unified national leadership and the launch of a new stage of the Palestinian struggle, based on resistance in all its legitimate forms, and on the unity of the Palestinian people, the unity of their cause, and the unity of their objectives.

The unity of the resistance forces, the establishment of a unified Palestinian national front, the restoration of the historic role of the diaspora, and the rebuilding of the Palestinian national liberation movement are not matters that can be deferred to a future date, but urgent national imperatives imposed by the sacrifices and steadfastness of our people. They are the path toward the liberation of all of Palestine, from the river to the sea, the return of the refugees to their homes, the dismantling of the Zionist settler-colonial project, and the end of its existence on the land of Palestine.
